1000W DIY EBIKE KIT

This Rear Wheel Electric Bike (e-bike) conversion kit includes everything needed to convert your standard bicycle into a high performing electric bike (some items excluded see ‘not included’ section below). It is suitable for bikes with a 135 mm rear drop-out width (not suitable for rear thru-axles) and for using either hydraulic or mechanical disc brakes set-ups (not suitable for v brakes).

The motor delivers high-power and allows you to maintain your speed up hills and into the wind. The controller can support either 36V or 48V batteries. A battery and battery charger are not included within this kit and must be purchased separately (a battery capable of providing a minimum continuous current of 35 amperage is required). This kit is intended for off-road use only. Please check your local laws and regulations to make sure that this kit suits you before purchasing

• General Wear and Tear is not covered by warranty.
• Buyer’s remorse is not covered by warranty.
• Damages occurring due to incorrect fitment is not covered by warranty. Please contact us in case of being unsure of the correct installation or operation of the kit beforehand.
• Please take care to properly fit and protect the wiring coming out from the motor axle as this can be damaged or cut if the bike is accidentally dropped onto its side.
• Please take care to seat the motor axle fully into the bikes' dropouts during installation (or after puncture repairs) and tighten the 21 mm axle nuts on either side of the motor firmly. Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by warranty.
• If using the bike in full power mode, it is highly recommended to fit a torque arm (purchased separately) to both sides of the bike (two in total). Not doing so can result in the motor axle spinning freely within the dropouts during operation (due to high torque) and cause damage to the wiring directly at/near the motor. This type of damage is not covered by warranty.
• The kit should not be immersed in water, have direct exposure to water or used in heavy rain.
• 3-month warranty provided upon receipt of the item.
• Although this kit is renowned for being well designed and long-lasting, damages occurring from incorrect use of the kit is not covered by warranty. The kit is not suitable for doing jumps, impacts with kerbs, exceeding the recommended weight limit or downhill riding. The kit is most suited to riding on well paved surfaces and enjoying light gravel tracks.

NOTES

• Press the 'M' button on the LCD meter to turn on and start enjoying the full potential of the kit.
• The rim is best suited for 2.125” to 2.5” wide tyres (tyres are not included in this kit).
• AU regulations require that the kit does not exceed 250W continuous power and 25km/hr on public roads and paths therefore please set the ‘P08’ programming setting on the kit to 25km/hr and the ‘P10’ setting to ‘0’ (disconnects throttle) under these circumstances. To access the settings, press the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ arrows at the same time for 1 second once the kit is turned on and then short press ‘M’ to toggle through the ‘P’ settings e.g. ‘P01’, ‘P02’ etc. till ‘P08’ and check this value is set to 25km/hr.
